Bio

BIO

Kia ora! I'm Emma, a filmmaker from Wellington, Aotearoa.  My area of interest is in both ends of the filmmaking experience, writing and editing. My style consists of strange, funny and faced paced writing paired with clean, quick and sometimes dream-like editing.

I found a love for filmmaking when I was 9, creating stop motion movies and music videos on my mums phone. I fell even more in love with movies in high school, plus I had the most amazing media studies teacher who allowed me to be myself and explore the types of films I want to make.

Some of my favourite movies & inspirations are Serial Mom (dir. John Waters), Love Lies Bleeding (dir. Rose Glass) & Candy (dir. Neil Armfield).
